Swiss Forex brokers![]() Swiss Forex brokers:Swiss banking system - one of the most sophisticated in the world, influenced the way traders perceived Swiss Forex brokers: as reliable, trusted, advanced. However, as practice showed, this was no more than a beautiful myth. Swiss brokers had nothing to do with advanced and trusted Swiss banking system. Quite the opposite, there had been a number of companies, who tried to capitalize on calling themselves "Swiss-based". That was a trend of the past. Swiss authorities put an end to this questionable poorly controlled situation in 2010 by imposing the Rule under which Forex trading can only be provided by a licensed Bank. The face of the Swiss financial image was restored in the eyes of Forex trading community since then.

January 24, 2015I could not find ELEX - Electronic Markets as an approved Swiss forex broker in the FINMA list of Authorized Institutions (see http://www.finma.ch/e/beaufsichtigte/bewilligungstraeger/Pages/default.aspx).
ELEX does not claim to be Swiss - see http://www.elex-markets.com/index.php/about-us
"ELEX is supervised and regulated by the Authorities of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines under the FSA Amendment and Consolidation Act."
